Most businesses come to a new website with a list of pages and a few sites they like the look of. That's a good place to start, but it ignores the questions that decide whether the site pays its way: who it's for, what they need to see before they'll call or buy and which systems it has to work with behind the scenes. We answer those first, so every design decision has a commercial reason behind it.

Every project starts from a different position. What stays constant is the first question: what does this need to achieve commercially? The steps below are built around the answer.
Before anything is designed, we map how your customers find you, what they need to see before they get in touch or buy and how the site will work with the systems you already run.
We plan every page around the job it has to do, then work out the words, images and calls to action each one needs.
Webflow sites are designed in Figma and built to match, with your team reviewing as the work progresses. Shopify stores are designed directly inside Shopify's theme structure alongside the build, so what you review is the working store.
The site goes live from a tested staging version, and your team is trained to run it before we hand it over.
“We hired Skyrocket to rebuild our two websites on Shopify (one for NZ, one for Australia) and we were extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Skyrocket were efficient and cost-effective, delivering everything we wanted for our websites on time and on-budget. I have 15 years of experience in e-commerce and performance marketing, working both client side and agency side. I can honestly say that our project with Skyrocket was one of the smoothest I’ve experienced, and I would enlist them again in a second.”

For businesses where the site's job is to win an enquiry, such as professional services, trades, B2B and high-value purchases. Your team can update pages and content without needing a developer.
For businesses that sell online, from a focused range to thousands of products. We build it around how you sell, including wholesale pricing, subscriptions and the stock and freight systems you already use.
For brands that need a strong editorial site with a store behind it. Webflow carries the brand and content while Shopify handles products and checkout, which is how we built Slight Twist.

Every new build is quoted at a fixed price once it's scoped, so you know the full cost before you commit. Enquiry-led Webflow sites start from $[X] and Shopify stores from $[X], ex GST. The price depends on the number of page templates, the size of your catalogue and how many systems the site connects to. Larger or staged projects are priced from a rate guide.
Most builds take [X] to [X] weeks from kick-off to launch. Sites with large catalogues, several integrations or a lot of new content take longer, and you'll get a realistic timeline before you sign.
If people buy directly from your website, we'll recommend Shopify. If the site's job is to get people to call, book or enquire, Webflow is the better fit. Some brands need both, and we'll recommend the right setup during strategy.
We're a Shopify Partner and Certified Webflow Partner, and we work with Xero, MYOB, Cin7, Unleashed, Starshipit and Klaviyo across most of our projects. During strategy we map exactly how each system needs to connect, then bring in the right partner to set it up and test it before launch.

Before a project starts, we often come to you. Sitting in your space, understanding how the business operates and working through the brief face to face gives us context that a video call doesn't quite replicate.
