Advintage has been shipping wine and spirits to New Zealand doors since 1999. It's a family run business with a real bricks and mortar store in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay, and it now sends out thousands of cases a month nationwide. The whole point of the brand is good wine at a fair price with no pretension attached. Skyrocket built the Shopify site that carries that attitude online, with a catalogue spanning reds, whites, rosé, sparkling and spirits, sorted by variety, country and curated picks like Mac's Picks and Quaffers, automatic case rate pricing on any 12 bottle order, and same day dispatch.

By the time they came to us the catalogue had outgrown Magento, and the systems around it (accounting, payments, shipping) needed to be planned together as one stack.
We moved the store from Magento to Shopify, supported the change from MYOB to Infusion and kept GoSweetSpot running for shipping so fulfilment carried on without disruption. We also worked through the payment processing options with the team and set them up on Windcave instead of Shopify Payments.
More than 4,000 SKUs were set up and transferred to the new site. Wine sells by the bottle and by the case, so we built custom product pages and fields, custom product bundles and a discount structure that handles bottle and case pricing properly.
